BlackBerry Playbook tablet launch – smartphone, features, review, price
Blackberry Maker Research in Motion’s (RIM) PlayBook , is set to be up for sale from today.
The tablet weighing 425 grams has 7.6” x 5.1” x 0.4” dimensions and a high-resolution 7-inch touchscreen. Powered by 1GHz dual core processor, it boasts of a 1GB RAM and sports a 5MP rear facing camera to shoot 1080p HD videos and a 3MP front facing camera for video chatting.
The tablet also features BlackBerry Bridge for viewing e-mail and BBM to stay connected with friends and family. The tablet with a battery life of 10 hours has a calendar and address book on the screen and supports Adobe Flash 10.1 and HTML5 for improved web browsing.
The BlackBerry PlayBook tablet is available at LetsBuy in three capacities namely, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB which are priced at Rs. 27,990, Rs. 32,990 and Rs. 37,990, respectively. Amzer Silicon case and screen protectors worth Rs. 1,555 are offered for free by the website on purchase of the 16GB or 32GB variants.
